Residents and visitors will find relief from the summer heat at Summer Waves, Jekyll Island's 11 acre water park.  Toddlers (children under 48 inches tall) can splash around in a carefully supervised water playground with fountains, slides, and a waterfall in only 12 inches of water.  For a screaming good time, ride the twisting turns of the water slides or get soaked at the massive DownPour bucket at the new spray park. Then relax and soak up the sun as you cruise around the endless river.
