In an effort to make Jekyll Island's employees the most knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly at any destination, we have come up with "The Starfish Program." Small classes, limited to 9, are toured around the island, treated to lunch, and hopefully filled with the desire to go beyond the call of duty to make our visitors' stay the best vacation they've ever had. The idea is not to teach them everything in one day but to have them leave with a desire to learn about Jekyll Island, and share that knowledge with our guests. The day is fun and interactive, not boring.
This year we are trying something new. We are doing a whole week of classes. Following is our agenda. You may want to sign up for an entire day or a morning session one day with an afternoon session, another day. Call Jennifer Franks at 635-4192 if you have questions.
